Easter is a little over a week away! I have been sharing lots of Easter inspiration in the traditional pastel color schemes, so I’m super excited to share a little twist to that palette today! Bright carrot orange and grass green are a beautiful combination for Easter. They really create a festive and lively table setting! Carrots take center stage and even appear in chocolate form! Take a look at the details below for recreating the look at your home!
To start, cover your table with a vibrant carrot orange tablecloth. I chose orange burlap from the fabric store for my table covering. Next, white and orange striped napkins added pops of pattern with the color scheme.
Grow your own centerpiece! Fill a plant tray with soil and rye grass to grow a live centerpiece. Keep in mind that it takes about one two weeks for the grass to grow tall so if you start this weekend, you should be set. If not, just purchase greenery and create a similar look. Set a large bunny rabbit down into the grass to create a festive bunny centerpiece that everyone will love. Make it even sweeter by placing chocolate shaped carrot candy down into the grass as the perfect sweet surprise for the kids to find!
White plates are topped with orange rimmed salad plates for each place setting. Be sure to make each guest feel special with their own mini Easter basket filled with decorative carrots. Check the craft stores for cute carrot decorations to use at your table. Keep the color scheme on point to make the table look coordinated.
Send each guest home with a cute little favor. I love having favors at all my party tables because it’s another way to incorporate the theme into a fun take-home for guests. I chose a fitting bunny book for the kids, “The Rabbit Who Liked to Crunch”. Pick up this book or similar ones on Amazon or bookstores.
Easily turn this party into a bar-style by stacking plates and organizing the décor on a side table or coffee table in your living room. This is a great alternative if you’re just serving appetizers rather than a full meal.
Need food ideas? Carrots and other veggies with a variety of dipping sauces like ranch and blue cheese are a must. Add in carrot cake cupcakes or a large carrot cake for a sweet finish. Or let kids decorate their own cupcakes at their place settings for a sweet party activity!
I hope you have a Happy Easter and if you’re hosting a party, I hope you’re inspired by the details above (first seen over on Homes.com here) to style a fabulous orange and greet carrot themed party!
