Marshmallow Pumpkin Pops

We have a new contributor joining Pizzazzerie! Welcome Amanda Hardin – we’ll be sharing more about Amanda soon, but first, she’s sharing a cute, Halloween treat!

Marshmallow Pumpkin Pops

It never fails every year that we get hit up with making some sort of last minute treat for our children’s class party or get asked to bring something “simple” to a neighborhood party. These Marshmallow Pumpkin Pops are not only quick and easy, but a super fun treat for kids and parents alike.

Pumpkin Marshmallow Pops Directions

Marshmallow Pumpkin Pops

Total Time: 1 hour

Stuff You’ll Need:
- Wilton Chocolate “Melter” (or microwave)
- Orange Candy Melts
- Giant Roasters Campfire Marshmallows
- Candy Sticks (approximately 8”)
- Wax paper
- Black Decorating Gel
- Green Ribbon

What You’ll Do:

Begin by melting the wafers in the Candy Melter (or in the microwave if you prefer). Cut marshmallows in half through the center. Dip end of candy stick in melted candy and tap off excess. Push stick through marshmallow to the top.

Dip marshmallow stick in melted candy. Rotate and tap off excess for consistent coverage. Place coated marshmallow stick on wax paper (see picture) to harden).

Cut 4” strips of ribbon. Once pops have hardened, tie the green ribbon at the base of the stick.

Using the black decorating gel, create a “face” for the pumpkin. Grab a festive plate for display and enjoy.
