Ahoy Matey! Adorable Pirate Birthday Party!

cute chlidren's pirate party

AHOY! Pirate Parties might be my absolute fave. If I end up having all girls, they better like pirates (I’ll make them pink but still) because every since this party I styled, I have just loved pirates. We’ve featured quite a few pirate parties here but of course, every single one has new ideas + inspiration like this one sent over from Holly McKenzie of Hollydays! I had the pleasure of meeting her last week and she is a doll. Holly designed all the paper goods for this party including the invitations, treasure maps, cupcake wrappers, juice box wrappers, etc! Check it out…

Isn’t it SO cute!? My husband’s birthday is this month…can it be pirate themed? I’m seriously obsessed! The “X marks The Spot” decorations are cute too! Another favorite? The “Canon Ball” treats! CLEVER!

Adorable Pirate Theme Party with all the little details! Guests were able to dress up with swords, eye patches and bandanas. The little pirates were able to go through a treasure hunt with a little map that outlined games (Pin the Parrot on the Pirate, Walk the Plank, Cannonballs) to play in a particular order to reach the buried treasure. When they reached the “treasure” they had treasure boxes and goodies. All of the food was named with cute pirate themed names: Sticky Sails, Black Beard’s Grub, Pirate’s Delight, Golden Nugget, Cannonballs and Treasure Treats.

What a fun theme. Your husband I’m sure would love this. I think it would be hilarious to do an adult theme party like this. My husbands birthday is next month and although he said he doesn’t want anything I may try to come up with a biking theme and have all his biking buddies come for a bikers party and dress up, omitting the cleats. You’ve just inspired me. If you have any brilliant ideas throw them my way. He might kill me but I think I’m going to do that.
