Woodland Fairy Party

Woodland Fairy themed parties are rising fast in popularity for children’s birthday themes! It’s easy to see why with their fun “mushroom” treats, woodsy details, and “fairy tale” ambiance. Styled by Fancy That + Inkberry, this red and purple Woodland Fairy Birthday Party was designed for a very special 9th birthday party!

Inspired by a wooden cake stand she spotted online, Lisa Komer of Fancy That got to work and created her OWN for this darling party! Along with the other woodland fairy details including my personal favorite – fairy dust – this party was a fabulous success!

Lisa of Fancy That shared her inspiration + party details: “This party was put together for the 9 year old daughter of the owner Bliss Bake Shop.  She is in the shop all the time and has seen me putting displays up for tons of themes.  She asked for a woodland fairy party with red & purple as the main colors.  The inspiration for the party started with the cupcake stand.  I had seen a similar stand on pinterest and fell in love with it but couldn’t find the source.  So I got some wood and moss and put together my own.   The custom fairy bottles were my other inspiration.  They are best seller in the shop and for the party – we decided to customize the little tags with each little girls name.

Girls’ Lunch
Fairy Berries
Snail Swirl Sandwiches
Gnome Walking Sticks (carrots & ranch)
Magical Fairy Juice (sparkling pink lemonade)

After their lunch they painted their own little fairy houses.  The sweets table included mushroom themed cupcakes and white chocolate dipped marshmallows, both a hit with the kids!

Party favors included a custom fairy dust bottle and a goodie bag with a custom notebook & twig pencil.

There’s so much that’s fabulous here, but I have to say, when I saw that wide shot of the dessert table and the path on the mossy tabletop leading to the doors, I squeaked with delight like a 4 year old.
