“Now that spring has sprung, it’s time to put away the fine china and get outdoors to entertain this spring and summer. However, being the hostess with the mostess can get pretty pricey. At T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, we get our current season inventory direct from designers and high-end retail stores. That means fabulous designer finds at a price you can’t refuse. We call it “The Thrill of the Find” — finding that coveted, “it” item of the season at a great, affordable price. While T.J.Maxx and Marshalls are typically thought of as fashion brands, they’ve built out their housewares department into a division called HomeGoods, changing the way people shop for their home décor and entertaining supplies. From cookware to gourmet foods to outdoor accessories, the ever-changing eclectic array of home fashions makes it more affordable to put on a killer party.”

Before summer ends my youngest will turn one so I will be hosting a first birthday party! I’ve already started planning for a green & brown turtle party. His big brother gave him a stuffed turtle right after he was born and has slept with it, for the most part, since he was born. I simply LOVE Homegoods and would love shopping there for just the right piece for my sons special day!

Red white and blue themes are honestly not at the top of my favorite theme list, but my brother is in the marine corp and soon to leave for training far away, so I was hoping to throw him a patriotic going away party so this all gave me such inspiration!
