“Now that spring has sprung, it’s time to put away the fine china and get outdoors to entertain this spring and summer. However, being the hostess with the mostess can get pretty pricey. At T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, we get our current season inventory direct from designers and high-end retail stores. That means fabulous designer finds at a price you can’t refuse. We call it “The Thrill of the Find” — finding that coveted, “it” item of the season at a great, affordable price. While T.J.Maxx and Marshalls are typically thought of as fashion brands, they’ve built out their housewares department into a division called HomeGoods, changing the way people shop for their home décor and entertaining supplies. From cookware to gourmet foods to outdoor accessories, the ever-changing eclectic array of home fashions makes it more affordable to put on a killer party.”

When we first moved back to Cincinnati we had a 4th picnic for a couple years. Then I got sick and we have missed a few years. I would love to have a big bash, pulling out all the stops. Hey, if I win, you are invited!!

What fun ideas!! I especially love how you turned the hot dogs into sailboats! We already hosted a surprise retirement party for my mom last week, but I would love to host another family gathering/party for 4th of July. And I LOVE Marshalls and TJ Maxx for great party finds, I think most of my serving pieces are from there, great prices and beautiful pieces!!

I would host a family reunion party at the lake for my family. My brother had a stroke four years ago and has had to miss but this year we’re going to make it happen!!! He will turn 60 this year and we are blessed to still have him. He would love the patriotic theme because he was in the AIR FORCE. I’ve been collecting flags and numerous red, white, and blue ideas.
