We’re sharing a fun RAINFOREST tablescape today! I don’t know about all of you, but the south’s humidity level has it feeling like an actual rain forest lately so this tablescape is quite fitting. This is a pretty dinner or luncheon display for a tropical theme as well! Rich leaf greens, water blues, and tropical coral made the perfect color scheme. What really topped off this display is the COCONUT SORBET! We’ve used it before and think it’s just divine as a dessert for any type of celebration!
We jazzed up the sorbets in individual ice cream bowls with a fern leaf cookie designed by the talented Bee’s Knees Creative! She makes super cute cookies that are also absolutely delish (the perfect cookie compliment to coconut sorbet). We also added a bit of shredded coconut on top for extra garnish! It’s the little things! And remember, you don’t have to match EVERYTHING so use what you already have and add in a few new items to fit the theme!
You might be wondering where we found coconut sorbet in coconut shells. No, we did not slave away to make these frozen treats! Island Way Sorbet is the clever company behind these perfect party desserts! Check them out (we found ours at Costco). The coconut is also fitting for an Island Pirate themed party.
A lot of questions come in about our tablecloths and where we find them. FABRIC! Even if you don’t have time to finish the edges with a sewing machine, you can use quick sew tape to wrap the edges under. You have the perfect tablescape to match your theme or decor in a matter of minutes. My Mom and I have a hard time leaving fabric stores as we just can’t stop dreaming up party ideas with every neat print and design! So head to your local fabric store and get inspired!
