“Girly, Girly, Girly” was the inspiration for this summer striped bridal shower at a unique outdoor venue! What bride-to-be wouldn’t enjoy this beautiful soirée decorated in pink and white stripes? The backdrop began by covering the table with a cotton candy pink tablecloth and overlaid with white striped organza! The stripe continued in the white-on-white striped napkins. The theme was then followed through on the invitations, place cards and candy labels which were decorated with pink and white striped paper and silver-gray accents. Mini cakes with pink stripes were placed on each dessert plate for the guests to enjoy. A signature drink of pink cotton candy martinis – each guest could have fun dropping their own cotton candy into their pink martini when ready to toast the bride-to-be! Pink and white carnations nestled in little silver cups that encircled the centerpiece of pink and white striped lollipops! What a fun, sweet day this would be for that “girly girl” bride-to-be!

Vanessa Grant Events set up a nautical striped lakeside dinner party! ” The dome holds a few nautical props (anchor, monkey fist knot, and bird), the small glass jar holds lemon candy, another lemon centerpiece, cake pops, blue and white striped Jello, lemon striped cake, brownies with blue and white striped fondant on top, cupcakes with N S E W tags, powered donuts (the tag reads, powered life preservers), 7 layer bars, lemon meringue cookies, blueberry lemonade, and glasses with striped paper straws.”

She even had a fabulous lobster dinner and an iced coffee station! She even designed ALL her own printables. We can’t wait to see more from Vanessa Grant Events! I’d like to attend her next lakeside party, wouldn’t you?!

The talented team at Tinsel & Twine designed this lemonade date night!
“We took our inspiration from summertime happy thoughts and a common nostalgia for lemonade stands on a sunny day. We wanted to go with something a little more unexpected and whimsical than our initial ideas for nautical stripes and seersucker. With this theme in mind, we created a table for a very special backyard date night. Our table pairs childlike details like hand-painted canvas pictures with sophisticated brushed metal and wrought iron. Subtle stripes of pom garlands in citrus hues add another playful element to the overall picture. All of these details are together bu a rich palette of satin ribbons that act as a runner along the length of the table. Cheers!
