Hey, Pizzazzerie readers! It’s Cara from One Swell Studio! I am just SO excited about Halloween coming up next weekend. I just can’t get enough of the spooky & adorable decorations, treats & goodies that come along with this fun holiday.
My favorite part about Halloween has to be the decorations. I always know Halloween is just around the corner when my husband lugs our big container of orange & black decorations down from the attic. I love spending an early-October weekend tying up corn stalks, placing pumpkins on our porch & finding just the right spot for our not-so- scary Halloween decor.
Now, I don’t know about you, but while this is a fun time of year, it always seems to get incredibly busy & I can sometimes get a little…. witchy. Lots to do & not enoughtime to do it tends to do that to a gal, am I right?
If you’re short on time when it comes to decorating this year, don’t pull out your black pointed hat just yet. I’ve got a quick & simple set of printables that will have your house Halloween-ready faster than you can grab your broomstick.
I designed these cute “The Wicked Witch Lives Here…” printables just for you lovely Pizzazzerie readers. All you need is a printer & a frame– no magic spells required.
No matter who you live with (little monsters, a handsome devil, or both!), there’s a sign for you. There are both portrait and landscape orientation PDFs available for each of the designs. Just click on the set you prefer & print away!
My sweet friend, Kate Maxwell styled the most perfect Halloween scenes to give you some inspiration on how you can display these in your own home. Simple, yet seriously spooky! I love the how a plain leather-bound book instantly becomes a little creepier when paired with a black candle (Hocus Pocus, anyone?!) and that a gold skull could be so spooky-chic! And that black feather wreath & tiny ravens are my very favorite parts of all.
These little signs would make the perfect hostess gift to take to that Halloween costume party & would also look adorable when placed near your candy bowl on Trick or Treat night. I hope you enjoy them!
