{DIY} Crafting with Washi Tape
Have you heard of Washi Tape before? It’s pretty Japanese craft tape that is perfect for decorating everything from drink stirrers to votives. I absolutely love the cute patterns you can find around the web. There are several different sources for Washi Tape (see bottom). The possibilities are endless for DIY crafts….it’s addictive!
This cute + colorful CUPCAKE TOWERÂ from Tatertots + Jello was decorated with washi tape!
Get creative and create CUPCAKE TOPPERS by layering stripes of washi tape in different colors + patterns for a festive look! {image source}
One of my favorite DIY ideas for washi tape is making COASTERS! Just pick up square tiles at your local hardwood store and layer them with stripes of washi tape. These would be cute as sets of 4 for hostess gifts! Source: Design Dreams Japan
I love this black/white striped washi tape from Shop Sweet Lulu! They have a great selection of fun patterns + colors. Match your party or wedding colors and create some cute crafts! I plan to use the black/white striped in my wedding.

I am a huge fan (and perhaps have a *slight* obsession to) washi tape! Love it!
you can buy washi tape at wishywashi.com if anyone’s looking for some! It seems to be cheaper than other sites.
