Sweet Little “Baa-ptism” Lamb Printables

Hi there, Pizzazzerie readers!  It’s Cara from One Swell Studio here.  Spring is in the air these days and that only means one thing—it’s baby season!  Everywhere I look, there are babies!  My Facebook feed seems to be filled with photos of teensy tiny little newborns these days.  At the store, I pass by so many itsy bitsy little ones napping in their carriers.  Seriously—they’re everywhere—and I love it!

If you’re the proud parent of a new little bundle of joy, perhaps you’re also trying to plan a baptism celebration for your sweet baby.  With spring as my inspiration and little lambs as my focal point, I’ve designed some “Baa-ptism” printables free for you to download and enjoy.

Who doesn’t love a cheery & clever pun during a sweet celebration?  I know I do!  My boys’ baptism celebrations were whale themed (Bless Our Little Squirt) and elephant themed (Bless Our Little Peanut).  After a serious (and sometimes lengthy) church service, it’s sometimes nice to lighten the mood a little with a teensy bit of humor.

This printable set is available in blue and pink so it’s perfect for boys or girls.  The pink set features a tiny bow on the lamb’s head—so sweet!  You can use a paper cutter or a pair of sharp scissors to cut out the elements.  I also recommend a 2-inch circle paper punch—it isn’t absolutely necessary, but it sure does make things go a little faster!  I recommend printing everything on a thick white cardstock for the best results.

Both sets feature brown and tan as the coordinating colors—so easy to match!  Grab some burlap at your local fabric store and use wood accents you already have to style a simple dessert table.  With Easter just around the corner, many stores have busted out their Spring-colored candies.  (Lots of pretty pastels going on in that candy aisle!)  I was able to find the cutest little white chocolate lambs at my local grocery store.  Jelly beans, Spring M&M’s, and other small filler candies are perfect to place in colorful cups to sit out for your guests to enjoy.

The Baa-ptism printables include the following items:

Buffet Tags– Everyone likes to know what’s on the menu.  Just write the name of the food on the fold-over tags and place them in front of the dish.

5×7” Welcome Sign– The text on this sign reads, “We welcome EWE to our sweet baby’s BAA-ptism” and guests are sure to ooh and ahh over the clever pun.

12 Cupcake Toppers- This is where that circle punch will come in handy!  (You can also cut these out as squares & they’ll be just as cute!)  While these 2” embellishments are perfect for topping cupcakes & other desserts, they also make the sweetest stickers—simply print this particular page onto a sheet of sticky label paper (available at most office supply stores) and you can dress up cups, napkin bundles, envelopes, and so much more!  Four designs (three of each) are included on the page.

2” Favor Tags- Send your guests home with a little something sweet after the party is over.  It doesn’t have to be over the top to be special!  A small bag of jellybeans, Hershey kisses or other little treat is sure to be appreciated in a big way.  These tags can add a coordinating element that ties the whole party together.  You can punch a hole in the tag & tie it on with ribbon, or simply attach it with a piece of double-sided tape.

Thank You Cards- Don’t forget the importance of a handwritten note.  These A4 sized folded cards are a great way to say “Thank EWE!” after the party is over.  A4 envelopes can be purchased at most print shops, office supply stores, or online.

The month of March is supposed to come in and out like a lion or a lamb.  With the frigid winter temps and ice storms that ushered in this month, here’s to hoping that “lamb-like” weather conditions are here to stay!
