Jennifer shared details of her CABANA SPA LUNCH Tablescape:

“We designed a “Cabana Spa” Ladies Lunch using a fun color scheme of lime green, lemon yellow and blueberry. We selected a striped fabric to use as the base and created a table runner and chair sashes with it. We carried the stripes throughout the food creating solid colored frosted cookies bites arranged in rows on a platter to represent stripes. We served a yogurt and fruit parfait using fruit in our color scheme to layer with yogurt and granola in the serving bowls. We topped off the parfaits with cute paper striped straws. To top it off we served a delicious cake that when cut into, revealed the same stripe pattern and fruit palette: Blueberry, Lemon and Lime. Lemons and Limes were used in the centerpieces, “layered” in glass cylinders filled with water. Simple placecards were adorned with stripes of ribbon. Notice the similar pattern on the goblets and the bottom runner of the cake which compliment each other in their use of round balls in a row. To pull it all together, we sat everyone under a canopy that was draped with pieces of fabric that created the illusion of being in a pool or beach cabana and made the table that much more cozy and intimate.”

Runner-Up: Pucker Up For Your Sweetie by Piggy Bank Parties

Details from Piggy Bank Parties
Party Concept: Before the big day, the bride will need to practice her pucker before she kisses her sweetie. The sour and tart sweet treats will offer her and her guests plenty of practice.
Décor: We customized our Sugar Cookie Collection to create fun printables for the shower. The background was created using square paper plates with striped paper added to the centers and a customized “Pucker Up!” banner was attached with two striped bows.
A Lemonade Stand and Kissing Booth were created using popcorn buckets from a dollar store as the base that were covered with striped paper. Our Sugar Cookie Welcome Sign was customized with a Lemon Sugar Cookie and a pair of pink lips then attached to two cookie sticks. The cookie sticks were placed in modeling clay on top of the popcorn buckets. We also use the striped paper at tops for the ball jar glasses of lemonade and as liners for the servingware.
Party Game: “Practice Your Pucker” – Guests are asked to stand up in front of the group and pop a Sour War Head in their mouth. The guest with the best “pucker” face wins!
Food: “Tart Treats” included Lemon Cake, Lemon Sugar Cookies, Lemon Loaf, Lemon Tea Cookies and Mini Meringue Cookies. The “Sweet & Sour” options included Hershey’s Kisses, Lemonheads and Lemon War Heads.
Beverage: Lip Smackin’ Lemonade can be served with a hint of strawberry and fresh lemon slices.
Favors: Lemon Biscotti and Lemon Herbal Tea
