Cute Back To School Party!
It’s that time of year again – BACK TO SCHOOL – can you believe it?! Summers just fly by, don’t they? Michele of Sweet Threads Clothing submitted this adorable back to school party! “There is no better way to end the summer than with a Back to School party! So to get everyone back in the school spirit we decided to have a party full of snacks and fun for Emma and her friends. I can’t believe they are off to kindergarten this year!” – Michele + she shared so many adorable pics with us (how cute are those cookies in the first photo?!). Read her details below…
Party On! Designs created the cutest set of printables incorporating chalkboards, apples and the ABCs into her designs. We used the huge chalkboard in our playroom as the centerpiece of the party! The kids thought it was fun to pretend they were in actually in school!
I found little galvanized tins in the dollar section of Target that had mini chalkboard plaques on them. I filled them with pencils, chalk and rulers and placed them on the ledge of the chalkboard.
For snacks, we filled brown lunch bags with juice boxes, applesauce and goldfish and Stephanie J’s Creations made the most adorable school shaped cookies. Those were the first things the kids ate!! At a kid sized table, I used composition books as placemats and filled a berry basket with apples to use as a fun centerpiece.
For a fun treat, I (Michele of Sweet Threads Clothing) made all the kids a back to school themed shirt. I even found fabric that was printed to look like lined notebook paper! Birdie Baby Boutique sent hair accessories for the girls. The kids loved posing with the “first day of kindergarten” sign that Party On! Designs created!
At the end of the party, all the kids got their very own personalized pencil box sent by I Have A Favor and I filled it with crayons, pencils, a pencil sharpener, an eraser and a glue stick. The kids had a blast and it was a great way to get them even more excited to start school!
