Pink + Yellow Spring Garden Party

Who is ready for Spring? This flower garden inspired party will definitely put you in the mood with its moss filled planters, fresh lemonade, and pink tulip cookies! Sarah De Jesus of Dreamers Joy Events & Design was inspired by the Pantone color of the year, Honeysuckle! Complimented with light pinks, yellows, and greens, she incorporated her crocheted flowers as cupcake toppers (clever!).

Sarah shared some of the decorative details with us: “The decor is focused around the flowers which were arranged in galvanized socker planter pots, flower metal plant stakes used to hold the dessert labels and the use of clay pots as the cake stand to give it a unique yet casual, garden and spring feel. The table was designed and styled by me in collaboration with Jennifer Bunce of The Hudson Cakery who created the delicious desserts and Wendy Oliver of Green Beansie Cards with whom I co-designed the beautiful matching printables (circle for flowers, metal plant stakes dessert labels, bottle labels, and letters for banner) used throughout this table decor.”

Wendy of Green Beansie Cards was inspired by this custom design so she has added it to her etsy shop so you can purchase it too. We love the flower medallions + full spring collection! Gorgeous. And this is a perfect theme for baby showers, wedding showers, sip ‘n sees, birthday parties, and “just because” get-togethers!

  1. I got to hang out with Sarah quite a bit in NYC, she’s a beautiful person inside and out! And a big woo hoo to my girl, Jen…the best girl to get lost in the big city with! (I’m hoping they both read this, or my post is going to look a bit foolish!)

    Beautiful work, ladies!

  2. Love the Honeysuckle Pink color of the year! Love the clever details of the crochet cake/cupcake toppers, and LOVE the inverted mini flower pots to hold the candy cones! Nicely done. Spring has sprung!

  3. Sarah / Dreamers Joy Events & Design says:

Thank you so much Courtney for the amazing feature!
Carrie, thank you for your sweet words and for the FB like! I truly appreciate everyone’s comments! Jennifer and Wendy are awesome people to work with. This design wouldn’t have been possible without their help and amazing talents! :)

  4. I turned out so beautiful! Thank you for the feature, Courtney! Sarah was also very organized and great to work with – we did it remotely – she’s in New Jersey and I’m in Colorado and it worked out great!

  5. The nature theme is carried through to the last detail, including my favourite of the whole table, the upside down terra cotta flower pots as a presentation for the candy cones. I can’t get enough of flowers and try to incorporate them as much as I can in my decorations, but have never thought of including crocheted flowers. Fun idea. Thanks for all the cuteness
