Pizzazzerie’s Children’s Party Tips!

We’re jumping in for a little book-tour planning break to share some of our favorite children’s party tips in a feature partnership with Rosanna Inc. Rosanna’s products are geared to the entertainer, and I have always crushed on her cake stands! We’ve partnered up to share Children’s Party Tips on our blogs so hop by hers to read her tips.

Happy Birthday Children's Party

Incorporate color! Children love color so even if it’s pastels, adding a variety of colors creates a whimsical, festive atmosphere. Love brighter colors and patterns? Check out these cute “fleamarket chic” plates that are perfect for a little girl’s tea party or just simply to serve cake on!

A trend that is returning to children’s parties is serving cake instead of the popular cupcake. We are tickled pink about the return of the traditional birthday cake and think these dessert cake plates with scalloped edging and cute polka dots are just the right plate for a piece of chocolate cake with pink icing.

Cake stands, pedestals, and platters are not to be reserved for only adult parties. Little girls especially love tea parties so incorporating real dishes and china will pass on your love of entertaining. I especially love solid colored stands as they can be used for numerous themes and celebrations. These are part of the Decor Bon Bon collection.

Love the pics and ideas! The cakes look absolutely lovely and definitely provide that “pop” of color that kids go crazy for! I know that in my house, when it’s birthday party time helium balloons are another fun way to add chromatic flair and a whimsical touch to the decor. And you can get them in any color nowadays, which is great!
