Disney’s Fairytale Weddings and Honeymoon’s Platinum Soiree

This past weekend I was fortunate enough to attend Disney’s Fairytale Wedding and Honeymoons blogger event and from the moment we arrived, it was truly a fairytale!

The event started off at the Disney Wedding Pavilion where we donned with adorable Minnie Mouse veils and invited to partake in a few treats from some absolutely charming and beautiful candy display tables- the bright colors and Florida sun made for a perfect combination!

After our “snacks” we were invited into the wedding chapel, where we witnessed a former Disney bride and groom renew their vows (then take off in Cinderella’s carriage- little girl’s fantasy much??!). We learned all about the stunning princess inspired gowns now being designed by Alfred Angelo and even got to hear from my favorite wedding expert, David Tutera!

I was also happy to find out that I was on the right track with my own wedding plans when David assured me that purple was definitely an IN color for Fall….yay! Plus take a look at the FABULOUS cakes and table settings highlighted in their showcase- just breathtaking!

Following our fun time at the pavilion, we were whisked off to Epcot Center where an absolutely stunning table adorned with green and purple silk (again-my fave color combo!) awaited us for our dinner on the water, a slew of decadent desserts and champagne and a fireworks display.

I have to say, if I didn’t already have my venue locked in, I might have been planning for my own Disney Dream Wedding at this amazing location…these folks take care of everything from flowers to fondant and it was all incredible…here’s to hoping I get invited back next year : )
