Cinnamon Sugar Candied Walnuts
Easy and delicious candied walnuts!

- 1 egg white
- 2 teaspoons water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 pound walnut pieces and halves
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk together egg white and water in mixing bowl until frothy. I use a hand-whisk but an electric whisk is also fine. Stir in vanilla extract.
Add walnuts to mixing bowl and coat evenly.
Combine sugar, cinnamon, and salt in large plastic bag.
Pour coated walnuts into bag and shake to coat walnuts evenly with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Spread walnuts out onto baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 40 minutes, stirring after 20 minutes.
