Zesty Cole Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 large cabbage shredded
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 carrot shredded
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup light oil
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine shredded cabbage, onion, pepper, and carrot in a mixing bowl. Top with sugar.
  • Combine the vinegar, oil, dry mustard, celery seed, and salt in a sauce pan over medium heat. Bring to a brisk boil and then pour over cabbage.
  • Refrigerate overnight and serve!
