Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler.
Whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt.
Then add the melted chocolate and butter mixture and mix well.
Pour your batter into pie crust and bake for 30-35 minutes or until slightly puffed. Be sure to allow the pie to cool before cutting. I often refrigerate mine until ready to serve.

Top with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce, if desired!
