You will love this Southern side dish. Homemade coleslaw is perfect for barbecues as a side or on top of your favorite BBQ sandwich!

- 1 small head of green cabbage shredded
- 1 small head of purple cabbage shredded
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 1 carrot finely shredded
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon salt
In a small bowl, stir together vinegar, mayonnaise, mustard, celery seed and salt until well mixed.
Combine shredded cabbages, onion and carrot in a mixing bowl. Pour over slaw dressing and toss. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
