These pimento cheese sausage balls are made with only 3 ingredients (+ optional seasoning). A delicious simple recipe that makes the perfect appetizer!
In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked sausage and pimento cheese until mixed thoroughly. You can use an electric KitchenAid mixer if you prefer.
Add in the 2 cups of Bisquick and red pepper (if using). Mix well with your hands (or electric mixer if using) until combined well.
Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls. You can also use a small cookie scoop to help. Place sausage balls onto a prepared baking sheet (lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray or lined with parchment paper).
Place baking sheet into preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they're golden brown. Enjoy!
Pimento cheese sausage balls may be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. You may also freeze them before baking, then thaw and bake before serving.

Yields: around 80 sausage balls (7 1/2 to 8 dozen).
