Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, and if you’re like me, then you’re ready to grab your girlfriends and enjoy a girl’s night in party! Hit the patio or backyard for a festive + fun atmosphere! I’ve so excited to share some fiesta inspiration with you + a delicious Margarita recipe courtesy of Sauza Blue! Whip up some “Sauza-Ritas“, turn on the tunes, and enjoy a girl’s night!

I chose a bright + cheerful orange + hot pink for my color scheme because it’s both girly while also quite festive. It’s perfect for summer! Simple place settings were easy with white plates, brightly colored napkins, and cute little containers for tortilla chip appetizers with salsa + guacamole. Little peel-and-stick chalkboard labels from the craft store made the perfect “place cards” for my girls! Gerber daisies are in season now and always available in bright shades of pink and orange. I set them down in little lanterns (some I used for votive candles and some for vases). I love repurposing items like little lanterns!

I used the Sauza Tequila recipe for “Sauza-Ritas”. It’s simple and oh so delish. A little orange twirl slice was the perfect garnish. We also made orange rimming salt by adding food coloring to regular margarita salt. Ta-da! This is an easy way to add a little festive pizzazz to your party drinks. Here is the recipe for Sauza-Ritas. You can also print it off in a cute card to pass out to your girlfriends (they’ll want it – it’s delish)!
