Boy’s Sweet “Back to Basics” Birthday Party
My sweet friend Rebecca Propes is one of my favorite “party gals” and also the designer behind Fresh Chick Design Studio! She is a talented printable designer who also styles some of my favorite parties! She not only keeps her design studio going, works with the team at Project Nursery, but is also getting ready for another addition to her growing family! So when her son’s birthday came around, she opted for a super sweet “back to basics” theme. I can only imagine how much the kids loved good ol’ fashioned brownies, rice krispy treats, and other sweet treats.
The printables for Brandt’s party are TOO cute! I adore stripes and the green + blue color scheme!
Check out the darling HAPPY BIRTHDAY BANNER designed by AtoZebra Celebrations – I love the sparkle! Rebecca shows us that it’s truly “doable” to set up a personalized birthday party at a fun location!
Rebecca set up a DIY project to hold up the birthday banner that also set the background for the table. Â She shared, “The place we held the party allowed us to bring in decor, desserts, they even blew up balloons for us! Â I bought some disposable table cloths and for convenience purposes, I used wrapping paper to embellish the treat jars, banner display and table runner. Â I wanted to show people it is possible to have a party at a location like we did and still add that bit of personalization to make it special without having the mess at home!”

I love this party and the fact that she was able to personalize it was awesome!!
LOVE IT!!!!!!
That’s really pretty.
I love this color palette! Great job!
Is there a DIY post coming soon for how she held up her banner? That would be so helpful! Many times there are situations where a free-standing backdrop is needed and I’d love to see some low-maintenance ideas for smaller spaces that don’t involve things like PVC pipe or other bulky contraptions. :-)
SO CUTE! Great job and great theme! I love the banner and the printables!
