I adore this “Little Red Car” Party designed by the amazing scissors.paper.cake (a collaboration between hello naomi and imprintables).

The details are delightful from the darling apothecary jars to the brilliant aquas and reds!  Finding ways to create a child’s party without following an over-used “theme” makes for a unique party! Featured in Cosmo Pregnancy, this children’s party uses symmetry to look clean, chic, and eye-catching!  DIY: place a cake on a simple cake stand as your centerpiece.  Place simple glass jars filled with colorful candies on either side of the cake stand and be creative, just stay within your color theme!

  1. How fun! Every little kid needs a party like this:)

  2. Very lovely. I would love to do something like this for my next party (not cars since i’m going to be a 25 yr old girl) but something simple and kind of matchy but not too matchy. Is this particular idea for a very young child since I think kids (5-6) might mess up and/or break all those lovely jars?

  3. How adorable!!You already know that you will be doing ALL of my children’s birthday parties!!

I like the cookies on the sticks beside the cake. You did something similar to this at your Valentine’s Party. LOVE IT!
