Sweet Washington, DC Luncheon
If you have ever found yourself decorating for a party being held at a restaurant, you might have struggled trying to decorate around the white linens already on the table. This SWEET & COLORFUL Luncheon styled by The Sweetest Affair and held at Charlie Palmer’s in Washington, DC shows you how to do it in style! Lots of parties are featuring candy tables but this was a seated candy table with the sweet treats incorporated in the design from the vases to the centerpieces! Even the favors incorporated candy and were made with each guests name personalized on the favor!
Details from The Sweetest Affair: “I’m excited to share with you our sweet luncheon for 15. We styled this delicious table for Charlie Palmer’s VIP guests on Capitol Hill. Truly, a seated candy table. It was covered with lollipop flowers, assorted candies and citrus fruit. The colors were orange, yellow and green with a splash of pink. Boxes of green apple gummies and custom mango lollipop flowers were used as favors and nameplates. Guests were even more astonished that their names were on the flowers. Restaurant staff and customers were mesmerized by the display. We took it to the next level by dressing some of the arrangements with cupcake gems to look like stamen. A luncheon to brighten any day.”
The table sweets included lemon heads, orange slices, peach gummies, rock candy, might mints, strawberry puffs, green apple gummies, peach belts, hard candy, and our gourmet lollipop flowers.
