Soccer Themed 4th Birthday Party!

soccer birthday party
Lili of SWANKY::CHIC::FETE designed this awesome SOCCER themed birthday party for her son Aston’s 4th birthday! I love the vibrant red, white, and blue color scheme with touches of navy too! The soccer birthday cake (by The Sweet Boutique) is one of the cutest cakes I have seen – with mini soccer balls, stripes, and little flags! Notice how treat bars are placed inside the cupcake wrappers – they aren’t just for cupcakes. Read on for Lili’s details!

SWANKY::CHIC::FETE shared her inspiration for this SOCCER themed soiree! “For the party decor, i was inspired by my son’s picture last Christmas wearing a grey sweater and navy pants holding a red & white soccer ball. I then decided to use those colors (red, navy and grey) for the party. Paula (Frog Prince Paperie) has an existing vintage sports stationery line where she added a custom invite to complete my party papergoods. I decorated round tables with white tablecloth and the perfect navy, grey & red striped wrapping paper found in Ikea then topped with navy buckets filled with soccer balls and flags and crinkle paper as centerpieces.”

Sweet Treats + Yummy Eats
“We served hotdogs from James Coney Island and beef/chicken fajitas for the adults. Since it was the usual hot Houston day, we decided to rent an ice cream cart filled with ice cream in various flavors/brands. Parked it outside for the kids to stop by and cool themselves off with their favorite ice cream bar, pushpops, ben & jerrys etc etc. The Turtle ice cream bar was the most popular!
For the dessert table, the kids feasted on cakepops, white fudge pretzels, cookies, cake and a popular Filipino dessert (made by a cousin) called Food for The Gods. A decadent dessert that looks like a brownie but its tastes like a less sweet butterscotch bar with dates and walnuts. Party favors were screenprinted tshirts  and plush soccer balls for the babies.
