Sundance Resort Wedding

This beautiful wedding submitted by Brody Dezember Photography is absolutely stunning, as are the couple Brittany and Rex!  I have to admit that I’m very much in love with their venue, which is the beautiful Sundance Resort, as well as the glowing paper lanterns and candles that gave such a romantic ambiance to the wedding.  The scenery is beautiful, and if you’ve never been there, just check out the view behind Brittany & Rex below!

Brittany shared some of her inspiration behind the wedding with us and some details from her reception that I’m sure you all will love below!  Their  colors were ivory, blush pink, taupe, champagne, and chocolate brown; a beautiful and classic mix of colors to set the mood for the evening.

The  centerpieces were manzanilla trees with vines of orchard flowers going up them, which brings a great height to this room.  The bases if those centerpieces were covered in a chocolate wrap as Brittany wanted to add some color to the the ivory table linens.   And another one of Brittany’s creative ideas: to print the menu on the backside of the table number cards!  Great re-use Brittany and of course a way to cut down on printing costs for your reception!

Besides the paper lanterns and the awesome wood sliding doors in the front of the reception, their escort cards are my absolute FAVORITE.    A friend of theirs used an old frame, painted it and then distressed it to fit our theme.  It fits perfectly outside the venue and is easy for everyone to find their card.

And their yummy cake was a three tier cake made with red velvet and cream cheese filling (my absolute favorite) and it was covered by an ivory fondant.  The accent of taupe ribbon and a strand of pearls really carries their colors and their romantic feel.   Brittany & Rex, we are so excited to share your wedding with everyone and wish you two all the best!
