French Toast Bites
The cutest little French Toast Bites that are perfect for brunch parties!
Ingredients
- 10 slices of sandwich bread
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
To coat:
- 1 Cup sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Cut the sandwich bread into small pieces. Set aside.
- In a bowl mix the sugar and cinnamon that we will use for coating, place into a plastic bag. Set aside.
- In a bowl beat the egg with the milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
- Coat the bread in the egg mixture.
- Grease a skillet or pan and, over medium heat, cook the french toast bites.
- Once they are golden brown remove from the fire.
- Place the french toast bites into the plastic bag and shake until they are coated.
- Serve and enjoy
