PIZZAZZERIE.COM’s 6th Birthday Bash!

That’s right, Pizzazzerie turns 6 years old today, March 16th! I cannot believe that it has already been 6 years! It seems like just yesterday that I was bound and determined to leave my full-time job (as a career counselor) to start this “party blog” and 6 years, 3 books, 500+ shoots later, here we are! I’m so thankful and full of gratitude for the readers that find inspiration here on this site every single day. Whether it’s prepping for a dear friend’s baby shower or planning a fabulous birthday party for a family member, I hope that you can come here and be filled to the brim with delightfully festive ideas for entertaining in style!

We decided to celebrate in an appropriate way – an epic doughnut 6th birthday party! I love the idea of “shaping” numbers in doughnuts – or cupcakes, mini cakes, brownies, muffins, you name it! It’s such a unique and easy way to celebrate! Pretty sure it’s better for the kids, however, as I’m not sure I’ll be wanting to see “32” spelled out this year. ;) Back to our party! Black and white stripes – of course – made the perfect tabletop cover! Fun party horns adorned with “6” gold stickers were an instant DIY that really ups the “pizzazz”! Add in some fun gold animal skewers, “yay” signs, striped and polka dot candles, and cute striped plates – and we were ready to party!

This year, I look forward to SO MUCH! Namely, my PARTY BOOK! If you missed the big announcement, you have to go  here right this second and read it! SQUEAL! So this year will be full of lots of gorgeous tablescape shoots (we’re gearing up for one right now), but don’t worry, we like to be workaholics so the inspiration here on the blog (and our social media accounts) won’t slow down. There are parties and celebrations to “pizzazz”, y’all!
