A Floral Themed Mother’s Day Brunch
While I love celebrating all occasions, Mother’s Day is truly one of my favorite reasons to set a pretty table and honor the special women in our lives.
Floral Mother’s Day Brunch
Whether it’s your mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, stepmother, or a woman who holds a special place in your heart, Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity to let her shine.
This is the perfect celebration to showcase all your entertaining skills with a gorgeous floral brunch.
As many of you know, I have quite the love affair with the Olivia & Oliver line at Bed Bath & Beyond (it’s every hostess’ dream line). The coupe from the collection even graces the cover of my book!
So when they asked if I wanted to share some Mother’s Day inspiration with y’all using the Olivia & Oliver collection along with a few extra pieces (including the darling chairs), it was an immediate YES! Â
In fact, everything you see on the table can be found at Bed Bath & Beyond. Talk about easy entertaining!
Let’s take a look inside, shall we?
Every hostess needs a great basic set of dishes and glassware. I cannot sing the praises enough of the Bed Bath & Beyond’s exclusive Olivia & Oliver line because it’s simple, versatile, and has a little something “extra”.
The organic shape and gold rim is pure perfection. If you’re a longtime follower, you’ve likely spotted the dishes and glassware in many of my parties. Hands down, this collection is my go-to.
It has a modern yet classic design, and it’s very affordable. You can dress it up for formal occasions or use for everyday, tailor it to various seasonal celebrations, and combine it with any color scheme. Mother’s Day is no exception!
Mother’s Day Place Settings
I adore white on white, but I like to break it up a bit with a classic rattan charger. They compliment any decor and allow the dinnerware to really pop.
For each place setting, I wanted to add a personalized touch, especially since it’s Mother’s Day! Instead of “place cards”, I used the Olivia & Oliver bouquet charms around a mini-bouquet tucked down in a coral napkin.
Use a floral tube to keep blooms fresh. Or simply use the charm as a napkin ring. For the charm, I framed a picture of each guest with his or her mother (or grandmother).
They’re darling! You could recreate the look for Mother’s Day as well as repurpose with pictures of each guest at other holidays as well.
Mother’s Day Centerpiece Florals
Down the center, I used three honeycomb hurricane vases in gold. Here is the center (larger) size and here are the outside (smaller) sizes I used. I adore these!
They’re super affordable, create beautiful bouquets (the wide top makes arranging stems very easy), and can be used year-round. Every mother would adore these as a beautiful gift, so if you’re on the hunt, I highly recommend these.
These chairs have received quite a lot of attention since I first shared them on Instagram a few weeks ago. I’m with y’all, they’re fabulous. They even stack for easy storage. They’re the Flash Furniture Cross Back Chairs. Mine are pecan, and they come in several colors! These might become a staple in my dining room, I’m quite smitten!

Let’s talk about the food, shall we?! Obviously, we have to have some tried and true brunch favorites like cinnamon rolls! The key is jazzing it up so it truly feels special. Since our theme is flowers, add extra blooms to the edges of your trays. Mine (above) is the gorgeous Olivia & Oliver Oblong Platter.
You know those blooms that break off or are too short to use in a centerpiece bouquet? Save those! They’re perfect for adding a floral touch to your food displays. You can also use extra petals from edible flowers (such as carnations) to garnish smooth or yogurt bowls, parfaits, cocktails, etc.
I used the Madison Fruit Bowls to create yogurt granola bowls. I LOVE the size of these bowls (not too big, not too small)!
Champagne is a must for celebrating Mom, aren’t I right? I added a touch of pink grapefruit juice and orange juice for an easy mimosa. They’re served in the Olivia & Oliver Madison Champagne Flutes. And water in these gorgeous highball glasses.
Even George joined in on the fun!
Hopefully you’ve seen a few different ways to incorporate flowers (beyond the typical centerpiece bouquet). A floral theme is darling for Mother’s Day, and any mother would feel so special to be invited to a “Mother’s Day Brunch”.Â
So I encourage you to step outside your comfort zone, invite the family over, and wow them with a gorgeous Mother’s Day Brunch! As you can see, Bed Bath & Beyond has everything you need for entertaining, decorating or upgrading any space in your home. I also love that you can visit in-store to check out the Olivia & Oliver line and other items or shop online!

I love the bouquet charms! What a nice touch!
Thanks Kendall!
Lovely to look at, but you won’t be able to see or converse with the person sitting across from you. I prefer low arrangements.
Thanks Barbara! That’s the beauty of getting to design our own tablescapes, you can create arrangements that you love. Thanks for your comment!
