That’s right, crafts can be more than glue and paper. There are so many darling ways to add a personal touch to napkins, tablecloths.. you name it! If you’re not Martha when it comes to crafts, do not fret! Some of these are perfect for beginners so let’s take a look, shall we?
DIY Painted Flatware
I’m already dreaming up my paint-dipped flatware! You could easily grab an inexpensive set of flatware (or thrift store some) and create a chic, colorful set! Love this DIY from Lovely Indeed!
DIY Seersucker Tea Towels
How darling are these seersucker tea towels? Now they would make cute towels for the kitchen, but I’m going to use these as napkins for a party! You could even make a matching set to give a friend (perfect bridal shower gift). Get the full DIY over on Sugar & Cloth!
DIY Painted Tablecloth
The possibilities truly are endless with this DIY. Painted tablecloths! This is such a fun one to do with your girlfriends. Lay out the cloths and get painting. Find the full DIY here on Let’s Mingle!
DIY Painted Plates
There are lots of darling ideas for creating your own painted plates. I love this tutorial for DIY plates from Kailo Chic. The brushstrokes are so chic, I can just envision the tablescape already!
DIY Giant Balloon Number
I just had to include one for the kids (although this would be cute for adult milestone birthdays too). It might take a lot of balloons, but you can get them super cheap online! I love the solid color, but I also think a rainbow version would be super cute. You can tailor the color to match your party theme! Visit Oh Happy Day for the DIY!
I love LOVE the painted plates! Oh the color and the paint speaks to me so! I am an artist and thanks so posting this!!
That flatware is gorgeous! I can definitely see how that would take some goodwill/yard sale/thrift store finds to the next level.
Thanks for the comment! Yes, I now want to go do some major thrifting to find some more flatware!
