“Tis the Season” Christmas Party by Christina Christian

Christina Christian is one of my favorite stylists, the gal just knows what looks good! She’s such an inspiration so we’re tickled pink to welcome her to the blog today to share this classical “Tis the Season” Christmas party just in time for all those holiday shindigs! “In the Mid-West, holidays are always cold and cozy. Shorter days, smoky chimney’s, and the smell of apple cider in the air are a good indication that Christmas is finally near. The best way to say, “’tis the season” is with a classic Christmas party. So, I styled this year’s gathering with just that in mind. As I developed the concept for the event I had graphic designer Keely of Even Keel create our “‘tis the season” logo. You can spot it on the custom hot chocolate cups and napkins by Two Funny Girls. I’ve also included the logo on the coffee mugs and sticker labels for the Christmas cards from Tiny Prints.

Next, beautiful hosting family had an amazing venue which set the tone for the décor with its original brick walls and warm soft lighting. The intimate space made just enough room for the sweets bar and selfie tent. Hot chocolate and traditional Christmas cookies are a must-have for holiday parties. I had Maribelle Cakery and Donna’s Gourmet Cookies create the perfect look with traditional Christmas party sweets. Then, florist Two Little Buds dressed space in fresh Christmas garland and satin ribbon. Each detail was carefully captured by Jonathan Gibson photography.
