We’re in for a treat today! I’m so thrilled to get the opportunity to share this darling nautical birthday party feature from my friend Kristin of Paige Simple! All of her parties are the absolute cutest with no detail missed. This nautical birthday party was for her son Davis who was turning 1! First birthday parties are so much fun, especially when they’re red, white, and blue nautical themed!
INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAUTICAL BIRTHDAY PARTY
FROM KRISTIN: “When my son Davis was born my friend gave him a wooden keepsake set that has all of his birth statistics on it. The set is nautical themed and has a little red crab on it (included in the photos). We loved it so much we planned his first birthday around it.”
Let’s take a look at these adorable party photos! Be on the lookout for all the sweet details from the games to the treats too!
Oh how sweet?! The party was held last summer at the family’s home in New England! What a perfect location for this nautical theme. I also love the patriotic color scheme too! Kristin thought of the older children too so she set up fun party games to keep them busy – and having fun! She shared more details: “They threw water balloons through life rings that my husband made with foam wreaths and red duct tape. They also dug for crabs in our sandbox and played with wooden sailboats in our baby pool. The sailboats doubled as a party favors.”
I don’t know about you, but I’m sure inspired to host a nautical party! Even if it’s not in conjunction with a special birthday, a general nautical party for the neighbors or friends is certainly being added to my summer bucket list.
