A Coastal Thanksgiving

nautical holiday table setting

Halloween is behind us, and that means less than a month until Thanksgiving! We will have dozens of tablescape inspiration, recipes, and DIY ideas for the holidays. This coastal twist on your Thanksgiving table is perfect for shore lovers! Designed by Coastal Living, the setting mixes a vintage maritime look with elements inspired by the colors of nautical charts.

Seaside and nautical themes are full of rich corals, brilliant blues, and golden hues. Break the “rules” this year and add a bit of spice to your Thanksgiving Table with touches of seaside elegance. Fill vases with sand and top with candles. Fill cornucopias with a variety of sand dollars and starfish. Serve your favorite cake recipe in cupcake form topped with a seashell! Etsy seller, EyeCandy Sugar sells fondant seashells or try your hand at making your own!

Even if you live hours from the coast, bring a bit of seaside to your Thanksgiving this year! I spent my childhood years growing up in downtown Charleston and still miss the coastal touch! Check out Coastal Living for lots of coastal-inspired recipes and other decor ideas!

  1. Wow this is sooo pretty! My Sister and Mom live on the coast and this gives me tons of inspiration for my Sister’s College Graduation Party later this year……thank you!
