Hostess Gifts: Bloody Mary’s & Mimosas
The Morning After Hostess Gifts
Whether you’re the hostess or the party-goer, we all know the next morning can be painful whether it’s the cleanup or a hangover and for some, it’s both. Now that it’s the season for holiday parties, what better hostess gift then the ingredients for either bloody mary’s (a.k.a. the hangover remedy) or mimosas? It’s a thoughtful and simple way to say “thank you”. Rule of thumb, always ask yourself, would you like to receive this as a gift? Me: yes, please!
Here’s what you’ll need:
{Bloody Mary’s}
Large jar
Mason jar filled with pre-made bloody mary mix or homemade mix
Vodka
Pickled Asparagus
Pimento
Olives
Lemon or Lime
Large tooth picks
Spice bags
{Optional} crackers, nuts and summer sausage
Recipe card filled out for the perfect Bloody Mary cocktail
Using stamps or a permanent marker, label spice bag. In this case, I labeled it“garnish sticks” for the tooth picks. Fill medium size mason jar with bloody mary mix(found at local grocery store or liquor store). Add all contents into the large jar andyou’re voilà, hostess gift complete!
{Mimosas}
Bottle of Champagne
Orange Juice
Swing top glass bottle, filled with orange juice
Ribbon
Spice bags
Recipe notecard with instructions for the perfect mimosa cocktail
Tie ribbon around neck of the champagne bottle. Using stamps or a permanentmarker, label the spice bag with a message, drop in the recipe notecard (found at Paper Source) and tie to the champagne bottle. Fill swing top glass bottle (found at The Container Store) with orange juice and voilà, hostess gift complete!
