Hues of Orange: Easter Tablescape

One of my dearest “party gal” friends is Marcie Lenick of Celebrating Moments by Marcie! I met her last year at a conference and she’s so genuine and sweet. Love it! I’m still trying to catch my breath from a whirlwind last week so I’m so thankful she’s here to share her Easter party with y’all while I finish up some behind-the-scenes catch-up for some exciting new things to share soon. Marcie loves Easter as much as I do, so I am thrilled to share her Easter Party! I love her use of prints, hues of orange, and Easter touches!

Orange Easter TablescapeOrange and Green Easter Party! Orange Easter Party!

By Marcie Lenick:

“I have just felt so drawn to the color orange this season! I have never liked orange in my whole life… STRANGE. My home doesn’t work very well with pastels, not that your house has to match holiday colors (that’s just my designer OCD issues!) I think when spring starts to get close though, we all crave color!  Bright and sunny color. I also think I liked the idea that I could roll this look into summer as well. LOVE that multi-tasking!

It all started with some pretty silk flowers I found at Michael’s on sale. I have now used the frame I have on the table for 3 different seasonal tablescapes (which you can see on my blog). I found the table runner at a 2nd hand store for $4 and then actually saw it at Pier 1 the other day BRAND NEW for $24.99… SCORE!

The green glasses are handed down family pieces that went perfectly and the orange accent plates are from Target and then I took sheets of Moss I purchased at Hobby Lobby for another project and cut circles out of it to layer and add another pop of the green under the nests.

I mixed glass candlesticks I had with glass jars I have been saving up for a future event. (If you look close you can tell one of them is a McCormick spice jar.)  I LOVE mixing a few new things with old and repurposed items. I had the big bunny from a few years ago when I was at Marshalls and he cried out for me to take him home! Who could resist???

I also added a pop of color to my 2 sides chairs with the Chevron pillow covers I also found at Hobby Lobby. I LOVE these things! I tend to have a bet of an obsession with pillows… so these are a perfect way to mix things up inexpensively, while not taking up any more storage space (which makes my husband VERY happy!)”
