Nutcracker “Sweet” Tea Party

What better way to combine the holiday season and the celebration of a young girl’s birthday than with this DARLING Nutcracker “Sweet” Tea Party from Shannon Green at Sweet Pea Soirées!

From the perfect ‘star’ of the show, birthday girl Hannah in her Clara-like white nightgown, to the beautiful vintage holly tea set, the party’s theme is flawlessly represented in every aspect. Hannah and her tutu-clad guests (each friend received a custom blue and white version as a nod to the ballet’s Dance of the Snowflakes) decorated cookies and sipped hot cocoa with handmade snowflake marshmallows-love this!

The ever-talented Shannon created a special frosting recipe made with pink crushed candy cane butter cream, making for just perfect cupcakes. Also on the menu were snowflake cake truffles, white chocolate peppermint pretzel rods, pink rock candy and white chocolate filled candy cane hearts, delicious! The lovely treats were complimented by pearl and ribbon accented paper goods from Little Bit Heart and sat upon a fabulous vintage table runner.

Overall just a wonderfully whimsical celebration of a holiday classic and a little lady’s special day : )
