Valentine’s Dinner Party

Pizzazzerie launched on March 16th of last year (our 1 year birthday is coming up!). I hosted a Valentine’s Dinner Party last February so I’m just now sharing it. I look back now and would have made lots of changes but I still think there are lots of cute ideas you might find for hosting your own Valentine’s Dinner Party!
One of my favorites is including a Love Quote at each place setting. Easy and simple, it gives each guest that warm and fuzzy feeling. For this particular party, I invited all my single girlfriends together and each girl left with candy, a red rose, and enjoyed a delicious dinner.
I placed a red rose at each place setting to add a “little touch” of Valentine’s Day. I used ribbon to tie around a simple white, cloth napkin. I snipped the stems and added the roses down into the ribbon an hour before the guests arrived.
Favors included red buckets found for just $1 filled with a variety of chocolates and used as a place “card” by including each guest’s name on their lollipop!
Simple desserts were served including cupcakes and rice krispie treats! The rice krispie treats were stuck on lollipop sticks and dipped in pink chocolate melts. Easy and cute!
Caprese salad is one of my favorite dishes so I knew I wanted to serve it at this Valentine’s Dinner Party! I bought sliced mozzarella and used a heart cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes! (Caprese Salad photo by Courtney Dial)
Awww. This is so sweet. You’re such a good friend to your girlfriends :)

I love the scripture, what a wonderful place card. How much fun was this party to put together? Looks wonderful. Because of my special dietary needs we always are home for most special occasions. Thank you for sharing with us.

Wow what lucky guests they were!!
Caprese is one of my faves too – but I LOVE the heart cutout!!! IT’s just one of those details that I love soooo much! And the quote’s at each seat are such a special touch. This looks fabulous sweetie. I can’t wait to see what this year brings! And so close to your birthday ;-))) Big celebration is in order for that!!
