Chic + Elegant Blue and Green Baby Shower!

Baby showers always bring lots of “ooh’s and aah’s” and this one is just over-the-top adorable from the striped chevron cake to the darling paper details! Styled by Meredith Young of Au Courant Floral and photographed by Southern Sprout, this baby shower has made it to the top of our fave list! What I truly love about this baby shower is how it illustrates that a baby boy’s shower can be chic and elegant without being “girly”. No dinosaurs or little trucks here.. just clean, stylish, chic shower decor!

“This was such a special baby shower because the mom-to-be is one of my besties! I jumped at the chance to host and decorate this fun event and I loved how it turned out.  It all started with a trip to the fabric store where I found the most adorable fabric with fun colors such as chartreuse and baby blue. I had to snag it! The rest kind of fell into place after that.  The invitations I designed mimicked the colors of the fabric but had a great chevron pattern which was carried throughout the shower.” – Meredith of Au Courant Floral

Meredith found the balloons at Shop Sweet Lulu’s (one of our fabulous sponsors and favorite party store). She tied different hues of blue ribbon, metallic rope, and metallic ric rac to the balloons!  What a cute touch!

“The Cake, created by the Cake Diva was not only beautiful, it was one of the best tasting cakes I’ve ever had,” shared Meredith.

The little food signs had cute sayings like: “Eat Your Veggies” and “An Apple a Day..” All the fun stuff kids like to hear! Adorable!
