Jellybean Baby Shower!

Throwing a baby shower? Get a little creative with your theme like hosting a “jelly bean” themed shower in honor of the future little jelly bean! Simply Party styled up this adorable baby shower! “We found the fun chevron fabric in the orange, aqua and yellow and knew that was the perfect “candy” color palette, but still sophisticated enough for the mom.  We think this party is also great inspiration for a little boy’s first birthday!” – Katherine + Jenny

GREET YOUR GUESTS

“To greet the guests, the entry way had a coordinating sign in sheet, a display of the invitation, a small flower arrangement and a framed photo of the sweet guest of honor.  To personalize the frame we had around the house, we tied a coordinating ribbon on the top and a party circle on the bottom.  Above the table, we hung a white felt wreath (also made by us) and personalized that with a wooden letter that we adhered with the inspiration fabric, and hung with coordinating ribbon.” – Simply Party

MARGARITAS & BLOOD ORANGE ITALIAN SODA

“To keep with our color scheme, we served blue margaritas and blood orange italian soda.  We tied the coordinating ribbon we used throughout the party to the pitchers to give everything a cohesive look.  For glasses, we used wine glasses in different shapes and sizes, then embellished them with yellow striped paper straws with the chevron print flags.” –  Simply Party

DECORATIONS ARE A MUST!

“We used the inspiration fabric as the centerpiece of the main table.  We made simple table runners with a quick stitch (non-sewers could easily do this with iron-on hem tape!).  We also made the three cake stands in the center of the table from wood and painted them white.  We adhered the coordinating ribbon around the edge to customize it to this party.  It only took a couple pieces of tape, so we will be reusing these often!  We also covered the top with scrapbook paper to tie the look together even further.  The monogram is made from a large chip board letter found at our local craft store and personalized with the chevron fabric, finished off with simple white piping.  We made mini tissue paper poms to hang from the chandelier and used the ribbon to tie on bows.  We made a simple banner from the secondary pattern to hang across the front of the table.” – Simply Party

SIMPLE + DELISH TREATS

“Our philosophy is to entertain as simply as possible (with great style, too!), and we really accomplished that with the food and it looked (and tasted!) amazing!  We made mini cheesecakes from the jello no-bake box mix- they were the hit of the party and couldn’t be easier!  We topped them with a cute mini spoon and customized with ribbon.  We also made mini cupcakes with aqua frosting, topped with an orange jelly bean, of course!  We also made key lime fudge (can be made days in advance), lemon bars, caprese bites (just half cherry tomato, marinated mozzarella & basil on a tooth pick- easy & cute!), tortellini skewers with pesto dipping sauce, fruit & cheese plates, and chicken salad phyllo cups.  We found the yellow square plates at the dollar store and the aqua and white polka dot napkins at Target.” – Simply Party
