Jungalow Bungalow Baby Shower
This sweet jungle-themed baby shower includes many lovely, handmade details that all came together for a very special mom-to-be. The shower took place on a perfectly sunny day in May at the The Roswell Teahouse – a 1920’s house in a hidden corner of the historic district of Roswell, GA. Designed by the talented Cloud 9 Events, you’ll see lots of sweet baby shower details for decorating at a restaurant or fun location from napkins + utensils to chair decorations…. take a look at this sweet shower…..
Everything from handmade pennants with colorful trim, strung on the window, to customized wooden letters spelling the word B-A-B-Y in coordinating scrap booking paper displayed on the window sill. The favors consisted of mini jars with latches finished off with yellow ribbon and handmade tags, each customized with a jungle animal and filled with tasty butter mints.
Raquel of Cloud 9 shared details about fun baby shower games… “Although the games were kept to a minimum, two that we couldn’t resist were having guests fill in the name of some baby animals (easier said than done!). We also had a baby food taste test, where guests were asked to take a bite of four different kinds of baby food and guess what they were eating.”
Bud vases were used to accent the cafe tables at the tea house, and each were filled with delicate yellow and green mums and finished off with a small yellow bow. Even the napkin rings were customized to tie the entire jungle theme together. The guest of honor’s chair was decorated with some simple green tulle and finished off with an elephant applique.
