Modern Yellow & Gray Baby Sprinkle
What’s a baby sprinkle you say? It’s a shower for a Mom not having her first child. It’s a way to still celebrate the new baby with a “sprinking“ instead of a full on “shower” since Mom already has many of the items needed for a new baby. I think it’s darling and have plans to throw one of my best friends a sprinkle this spring for the arrival of her 2nd baby! This one, submitted by Petite Social, is absolutely phenomenal and provides so much event inspiration for not only baby showers/sprinkles but weddings and birthdays too!
This mom-to-be wanted nothing “cute-sy” or too “themed”. She just loves yellow and gray so Petite Social set out to design a simple, classy, and understated celebration! Katie hit the nail on the head with this design, it’s elegant and classy but still darling! Katie added in some silver and white shimmer since the event was held in early December. I love these subtle “winter wonderland” touches.
Mini sweet and savory bites filled the menu for this brunch-time event. Hello mini crab cakes, greek salad skewers, and parfait shooter! How cute! Katie wasn’t done there. Guests also noshed on mini pancake stacks (oh my cuteness) and sipped hot mulled cider and peach bellinis!
Dessert was a sampling of salted caramel macarons and vanilla cake pops dusted with sugar snow and mini fondant snowflakes! No detail was left out! Katie sent guests home with “due date” cookie (see top picture) as favors. Fresh Bakes created a square cookie to resemble a calendar with a snowflake and day highlighting the due date! These were a big hit!
