Purple + Aqua Carnival Baby Shower!
Tiffany Berkeley of Orange Moon Events & Planning sent over this adorable CARNIVAL BABY SHOWER full of super cute details. “Because it was time for our county fair, I decided to use a playful vintage carnival/fair theme. As a twist for this playful girl baby shower, we used a purple and aqua color scheme with carnival stripes and dots all over.” – Tiffany

DECORATIONS
“We used various vintage carnival concepts throughout the shower. Admit One tickets were given to game winners and each guest redeemed their tickets for prizes at the end of the shower. These tickets were also used in other areas of the décor such as the place settings and diaper cake. Vintage style mason jars were used as glasses for lemonade as well as vases in the centerpiece. Vintage style globe string lights along the fireplace surrounded pictures of vintage carnival scenes. The framed invitations, a DIY project designed by Paper & Pigtails and put together by the shower’s host and event planner was a playful take on vintage carnival signs.
Upon arrival, guests received welcome packets. In these striped treat bags; guests received 3 game cards, a blank name sticker, pen, and complimentary Admit One tickets. Centerpieces consisted of circle centerpiece mirrors topped with mason jars filled with baby’s breath, small vases of purple tulips, a tea light candle, and purple pacifier favors”
FOOD & DRINK
The carnival wouldn’t have been complete without our carnival food and drinks. Delicious freshly made lemonade was served in vintage mason jars filled with lemon slices and topped with adorable purple and blue polka dot straws. Sausage dogs with onions and peppers, macaroni and cheese bites, French fries, and mini corn dogs were just some of the carnival favorites that were served. Desserts included mini funnel cakes, chocolate covered cheesecake pops, and caramel apples.
FAVORS
A lovely purple and aqua “Sweets & Treats” table was set up for guests to help themselves and fill up the “Thank you” goody bags. Treats such as swirly pops, rock candy sticks, gumballs, jelly beans, M&Ms, gummy bears, gummy cokes, salt water taffy, and adorable cotton candy cups adorned the table along with cookies and the cake. Cookies were the shape of carnival favorites; a carnivaltent, a popcorn box, cotton candy, and an admission ticket with the baby’s name and date of the shower. The 2-tier strawberry cake was an amazing hit.
