A “Berry” Cute Fruit Stand Party
Nothing EXCITES me more than a unique birthday party theme for kids. So when Amy of Buggie and Jellybean sent over this darling “Fruit Stand Birthday Party“, I was smitten. With summer around the corner, it’s almost time for the days of stopping by roadside fruit stands for fresh strawberries, oranges, and pineapples. A party themed around these darling fruit stands? Genius.
Amy worked with my sweet friend Kori of Paper and Pigtails to design all the paper goods – aren’t they fabulous?! Amy and her husband crafted the entire fruit stand! What a talented duo. Bees Knees Creative (one of our favorite cookie designers!) made the strawberry cookies as well as bite size cookies for the cupcake toppers and cake decorations. Amy shared, “When I tell you I could have shellacked them and kept them for ever, I am not kidding her work [Bees Knees Creative] is out of this world!” (we agree!)
Watermelon soap from lather tech was made to look and smell just like watermelon! Bananas were represented by little bags in banana fabric {made by Amy} filled with banana chips. Pineapples were little shaped cups from Rhode Island Novelty. Amy also made the bubble gum flowers {bubble gum flower tutorial}. Cherries were made using cherry dum-dums. Clever!
Guests received little bags of fruit cocktail crayons, purchased from Doodle R Us. Amy’s uncle made a coloring sheet of birthday girl, Avery, for all the kiddos to take home.
The kids enjoyed fresh apples, oranges, and mini cups of blueberries. And last but not least, a delicious cake!
