Adorable Preppy Frog Party
I am all KINDS of in love with this preppy frog party from Michele Brown of Sweet Threads Clothing Company with printables from A Blissful Nest – what a dynamic duo! From the fabric “scrap” banner to the cute push-up pops (you know I’m loving those), I just can’t get enough of this party. We feature a lot of pink girly parties here and don’t get us wrong, we love them, but…. a cute “boy” party has us over the moon. And of course, this would also work for a gender neutral party, everyone loves froggies! To get the look, check out the party details below the pictures!
How adorable are the mason jar wraps?! Love it. Read below for all the party details as told by Michele Brown!
“Hop on over to my pad! Nothing could be cuter or say spring like this Preppy Frog Party! Filled with bright green colors, navy and blues and tons of DIY, its perfect for any boys birthday or baby shower. Rebekah of A Blissful Nest designed the most adorable printable set that was preppy and fun, without being too babyish. Fun polka dots and stripes in vibrant colors really made the party seem like we were almost outside at the lily pond.
I took those colors and made the easiest fabric banner using scraps of navy, green and light blue fabric. It literally took me about 15 minutes to make and it really made the party “pop” against the neutral walls. Instead of a typical long table, I used a white washed dresser as the dessert table and found a fun polka dot printed fabric in party colors that I used as a runner. Easy elements such as a white water pitcher for “pond water” and a green tinted mason jar (I did myself using Martha Stewart glass paint!) with lily flowers were easy and key pieces to make the table stand out.
We served cupcakes, adorable and delish cookies decorated by Batches that could not have fit the theme more perfectly and “lily pads” (green jello cups with gummy frogs in them – a Pinterest idea!!) Elizabeth of I Have A Favor decorated plain push up pop containers to fit the theme and I swear they made the party! I filled them with blue chocolate candies and placed them in little plastic tubs. They made a great party favor and something unique the kids can take home!
Bright and simple elements really made this party pop and at a minimal cost!”
