Beach Baby Birthday Party
Beach Baby Birthday Party
Parties are something I look at all day long so it’s not often that my jaw drops and I become completely speechless by a party. Paula of Frog Prince Paperie + Jennifer Staples of Party Dreamz submitted a party that did just that with this Pink, White, + Yellow Beach Baby Birthday Party! My favorite parts include the seashore cookies and flowing ribbon garland…
Paula shared her inspiration + design details from the party shoot!
“After meeting at the Central Florida Martha Stewart Dreamers into Doers event, Jennifer from Party Dreamz and I started to work on this “Beach Baby Birthday” piece. We designed a table setting and a dessert/snack table and picked the best back drop ever--the beach–to have our party.
PARTY DETAILS + INFORMATION
“The table was set in pretty pinks and yellows with glittery shells and pearly pinwheels. Each child had a glittered place card at their seat along with a party hat, pink plate and sparkly napkin. Our little birthday girl, Taylor, just loved wearing the tutu and headband from Titi’s Tutu’s that was made just for her! The older girls adored the headbands that matched the party as well.
A big part about having a party at the beach is making sure everything you bring doesn’t fly away in the ocean breeze. Our table cloth was weighted down with shell ties at each corner. I simply gathered the material, wrapped the corner in jute and glued two shells to another string of jute and tied it on. Pretty AND functional! The sandcastle cake was graciously provided by Susan at Sweet Designs Kitchen in Orlando.
The children were treated to a snack table with fruit, star shaped cheese “sand”wiches, a bucket of goldfish to scoop out with a shovel and into little snack cups and a few really special treats. The marshmallows were served in tiny tin buckets and set in a do-it-yourself “zen garden” for kids. The little fork and spook were there to groom the sand with! Renee from Bees Knees Creative sent a set of pink and white sea-themed cookies with sea shells and starfish to match the party.
One of my favorite details of this shoot was the RIBBON GARLAND. It helped to create a sense of intimacy on a very public beach, and looked magical when the breeze caught the streamers. The construction was simple; pvc pipe, some cut up strips of fabric, and a few lengths of ribbon added a lot of atmosphere to our day!”

This party is just gorgeous!.
I have some questions if you don’t mind:
1. Where can I purchase the white cake pedestal?
2. How you do for all the paper items not to fly away or tilt off your table?
Thanks in advance for your response! :)

When you marry and have little pizzazzies…their birthday parties are going to be sick! Between you and your insanely creative party friends…no one is going to ever want to give their bambinos parties if you continue to blog such prettiness. Gosh I would love to have a baby beach party! Pinwheels and pink! xo
