Camp Out Treat Table
Jeannie Gearin of Cakes by Jeannie sent me this Camp Out Treat Table that is perfect for the fall weather! All the treats she made sound delicious. Her framed menu for this treat table includes S’more Pops, Chocolate Confetti, Oatmeal Chunk cookies, Golden Cupcakes with Chocolate Fudge Frosting, Sixlets, and Owl Cookies. Yum!

Jeannie was fabulous enough to send along a recipe for us to enjoy! Thanks Jeannie!
Chocolate Confetti
Ingredients:
3 different colors of chocolate candy coating, 1/2 pound each
3 tablespoons paramount crystals, available at candy supply stores
4 cups Kix cereal
1 bag popped plain popcorn
4 cups corn flakes
Starting with lightest color of candy coating, in a microwave safe bowl, melt 1/2 pound of chocolate candy coating with 1 tablespoon of paramount crystals on high for about 20 seconds and then stir. Continue heating and stirring until chocolate is completely melted. Pour over Kix and mix well. Spread out in an even layer on a wax paper covered tray. Set aside.
Using the same bowl, melt the next darkest color of coating, using the same ratio of chocolate and crystals. When melted, pour over popcorn. When completely coated, spread out on another tray and allow to set.
Finish with darkest color and coat the corn flakes in same method.
When all of the treats are dry, break apart and combine in one large, airtight container.
Chocolate Confetti will keep for at least one week. Make it red, green and white during the holidays, the combinations are endless!
And one last cute picture – Mushroom Cookies!
so cute and creative!
Camping has never looked so delicious or so fun! I would love putting something like this together. What great inspiration.
Love this outdoor party, so festive!
