Colorful & Cute “By The Boardwalk” Party!
I love unique party themes like this “By The Boardwalk” Jersey Style party designed + styled for her daughter’s 5th birthday by the talented Party Box Design! It’s full of colorful details, the cutest paper goodies, and boardwalk-style treats! Who wouldn’t love a party with salt water taffy, boardwalk dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, + more! It’s easy to see why the adults had a blast at this shindig too! The vendor list also spotlights a few of my FAVES (like Cookies Are My Canvas who made cookies for my wedding)!Â
My absolute favorite part of this party are the paper goods designed by Jess (of PBD) because they’re so perfectly “summer” with the darling color palette and hand-painted details by Lindsey Shevkun Fine Arts. Ooh, they’re just too cute! I’d frame that invitation. And now I’m craving taffy…
I am just so in love with the darling details. That pink cotton candy? What little girl wouldn’t LOVE that at her birthday party? Below are a few of my favorite details! This party would be perfect year-round (with a few seasonal adjustments) and would be great for neighborhood block parties, school get-togethers, gender-neutral parties, + more! I love party themes that truly bring everyone in for some party fun! Jess of Party Box Design did such a fabulous job!Â
BALLOON TASSEL! Adding a tassel garland to balloon strings makes them really “pop” and is super cute for pictures too! The best part? You can use the tassels later for bedroom decorations or for another party (as a banner or another balloon garland). The ones featured in this party were made by Carmen of The Flair Exchange!
PAPER ROSETTES! I love these darling paper details. The rosettes make for fabulous table backdrops and coordinate so well with the party theme! They really jazz up a a party! These featured here were made by Petite Extravaganzas Paperie Studio
GOLD “BOARDWALK” BALLOONS! What a fun way to spell out a party theme or a birthday name! They truly take the party up a notch! You can find them a lot of places online (including Amazon). Also, the big round balloons featured here are from Polka Dot Market!Â
There were so many details from this party feature that I adore. Be sure to view the full credits & resources list for any questions about where items came from! Further questions? Head over to Party Box Design!

Wow! I can’t tell you how much I love every detail of this party. I am sure that the Birthday girl and all the guests had an amazing time and were in awe of all the details.
Isn’t it cute?! Thanks for the comment, Kristine!

So well done- love all of the gold touches! Adorable graphics too.
How fun and beautiful. I love the colors. I have an 11 (soon to be 12 in August) boy so I haven’t had the chance to do a birthday party with all the girly colors. Love it, thanks for sharing.
Sweet photos! Well done and thanks for sharing. Love from London x
Hello! Where can I find the popcorn party favor boxes and the cupcake wrappers?
