Colorful Fiesta 3rd Birthday Party!
We have a new party feature today, yay! I love featuring your fabulous parties, and my readers never cease to amaze me with amazing parties! I’m so impressed by the sweet details and personal touches that find their way to my inbox. This sweet party is one of my favorites. It’s a colorful Fiesta 3rd birthday party for twins! Fiesta (“3-Esta”) is such a cute theme. Mom – Danielle of Gemini Celebrations – didn’t miss a beat with lots of DIY projects and a vibrant color palette with hints of gold throughout!
Some of my very favorite details are the succulent 3 sign, the paper flowers, and that amazing birthday invitation! Wow! Another fave? The confetti balloons! These would be a cute addition to almost any celebration. Love!
Danielle shared, “I love the look of papel picado and decided to design and invitation inspired by the Mexican folk art. Since we have girl/boy twins I wanted to keep the décor rustic while using bright vibrant colors and hints of gold throughout. There were a lot of DIY projects including the “Cantina” which we built from recycled shipping pallets. I also made large, multi-colored crepe paper flowers which were used on the dessert table and strung from the trees in our yard. Other projects included a homemade piñata , gold leaf terra cotta pots and a vertical succulent garden in the shape of a “3”.”
The food and desserts were nothing short of amazing for this sweet Fiesta party! Danielle and her Mom love to bake so they made most of the desserts right in their kitchen. I love this! They wanted to keep the desserts very authentic so they stuck to traditional Mexican sweets which included pan dulce, arroz con leche and churros! There were also several desserts witha a spicy kick including ancho chili truffles and mango chili paletas. Yum! Lunch for party guests was a “build your own taco” station!
