Colorful Taste the Rainbow Birthday Party!
Rainbow parties are ALL THE RAGE, and it’s easy to see why with this absolutely adorable Taste The Rainbow themed birthday party! No detail was left out in this soiree from the water bottle labels to the cute “party popcorn” in rainbow colored treat containers. Designed by Wants and Wishes using darling party printables from their etsy shop here. Debbie and her team created a rainbow of cupcake flavors on their own colorful pedestals.
What I LOVE about this party is how the desserts truly shine against the clean party background. It doesn’t look “busy” or “cluttered” even with all the colors. They gathered different color cake stands at varying heights and sizes to display the cupcakes and added embellishments and tiny color picks. SO CUTE!Â
“Our printable tags, party circles and favor toppers were used for packaging taffy, jelly beans, mini hershey wrappers and much more. Also, we had mini rainbow cupcakes. You couldn’t have a taste the rainbow without SKITTLES! We separated each flavor and layered them in a glass apothecary jar. The item everybody loved was our rainbow white chocolate popcorn. We made printable trays and filled the popcorn inside! For the decorations we made a circle garland with mini rainbow bunting.” – Debbie of Wants and Wishes

Such an adorable party. Loooove the backdrop.
This is SO cute!! Loving all the cupcakes!!
Great job! I can almost taste those cotton candy cupcakes. And why do rainbows always look so much cuter with clouds?
Thank you for the feature! I agree… rainbows always look cuter with clouds!
I am a lurker of all things yummy – which of course I admire all your great ideas. I have been wondering something regarding the rainbow or layers really of multiple colors: How does it work during the party if guests want the color on the bottom or in the middle? Do you just let people dig or what? I have always wanted to ask! Patty :-)
Yes, we let them dig out the colors. We had a small scoop place in there and they could dig out your favorite flavor. I was actually amazed by how it didn’t get really jumbled as guest scooped up different layers. The guests loved the hunt through.
